A. For question 4, find the major cities on the map and look at where they are. Are they on the coast, near rivers, on the tops of mountains etc? Think about what goes on in a city - people making things, buying and selling them, eating and drinking. Where do things come from and where do they go? Now try and join the ideas up - would doing all these things be easier or more difficult if the cities were somewhere else, and why?

A. If you go to class, _participate in class_, do your homework, and ask questions of the teacher then these mid-terms and finals will be just another quiz. EDIT: @Johnnie Astro: Woodblock printing is most likely the answer to #18 since that is a precursor to movable type, the Gutenberg innovation. Why do teachers place so much emphasis on names and dates rather than the events that make up the history of our world? Is it laziness? Poor knowledge of the subject? Incompetence?

If this needs to be a certain number of words, you need to find more information, not keep repeating the same information (you repeated the same set of facts three times!). Hope this helps you out!
